Our study types
Depending on the product under investigation, the requirements for a study can vary considerably. From compatibility assessments to long-term efficacy monitoring, a wide variety of study designs are used. We generally distinguish between three types:

Instrumental Studies
Using state-of-the-art devices, numerous skin parameters can be recorded and visualized. Initially, the baseline condition is documented. Following the application period, a measurement is taken to determine the effect achieved with the product.

Self-Assessment Study
For consumers, it is often particularly helpful to know the assessments of people who have already used a product. Studies in which participants evaluate their experiences themselves are therefore an important part of our portfolio.

Study with panel tests
In this type of test, several people are specifically interviewed about certain product characteristics – such as the skin feel and fragrance of cosmetics, or the taste and texture of food supplements.
